Created with the bold brilliance of a halo of demi-pave set round diamonds, this vintage inspired 14K white gold mounting showcases the elegance and beauty of this extremely rare and vibrant 1.35 carat princess cut red emerald. The shoulders of this ring are adorned with diamond accents to add a luxurious sparkle. With milgrain detailing on the edges, this red emerald and diamond ring exudes refined elegance.
Twenty-four million years ago, pressure deep within the earth pushed up the Wah Wah Mountain Range in Utah. When the volcanic forces subsided, a small cache of red emeralds was left behind. The gemstones, also known as red beryl or bixbite, are only found in this mountain range in Utah, perhaps the rarest of all precious gems.
Red emeralds are so rare that in the 50 years since their discovery by Utah uranium prospector, Lamar Hodges, less than 60,000 carats have been cut or faceted into gemstones. Only one red emerald is found for every 150,000 diamonds. Cut stones can bring more than 1,000 times their weight in gold.

Unbeatable customer service and attention to every detail! I worked with Jerel, designer/jeweler and Jen, sales, to create the most perfect engagement ring for my Fiancé and custom wedding bands. The process from beginning to end went very smooth and I received the exact ring we envisioned together. This is absolutely THE place for custom jewelery, timeless heirlooms, and totally unique one of a kind gemstones.

I have purchased several pieces at the Park City Jewelers. Their custom services are second to none and you’ll find many unique prices in their case. It’s a great family business and all the people there are wonderful.
